Coronavirus (Covid-19) Canary Thermal Roof Statement and Procedures

Safety Procedures In Place

All surveys of conservatory roofs can be conducted from outside access via the garden and all measurements and viewing can take place from the outside of the conservatory if the customer prefers. Quotations and an explanation of the work involved including an individual risk assessment of the job can be by telephone the following day, then put in writing by email or by post if preferred. If you then wish to proceed with the installation we will arrange a mutually agreed installation date.

During installation the fitters are to self check their well-being every morning and not visit any installation if they have a temperature or are feeling any of the advised symptoms, if they do, they or their spouse are to telephone myself (the owner) immediately so that I can make alternative arrangements. They will then be advised to self isolate for the required time frame.

The fitters are to wear face masks and gloves and all work will be undertaken in a safe environment by closing the conservatory off from the main living area of the property, all access to the conservatory will be by way of the outside entrance via the garden, so no contact will be made between the fitters and the householder at any time while the installation is in progress.

On completion of the installation process we give every conservatory a commercial antiviral fogging clean.

For any more information or guidance on an appointment or installation please do not hesitate to contact us.
